Donna Shebat, PE, Associate

Donna enjoys working on varied and interesting projects which offer unique challenges and rewards. She is skilled in the evaluation and renovation of existing structures, particularly historic, and in the structural analyses, design and construction administration of new buildings.

Her portfolio ranges from structural revitalization work on national icons such as the Smithsonian’s Arts and Industries Building to new higher education buildings, to managing multi-discipline teams for large building renovations and repairs. Donna is recognized for her great attention to detail during survey and design and her dedicated efforts in ensuring a quality outcome during construction. Her greatest satisfaction is developing, enhancing and preserving a variety of structures for future generations, as she has said, “It’s very exciting to drive around the Washington Metropolitan area with my four children and point out the new buildings that I’ve designed and the older ones that I’ve helped to preserve.”
