This new 68,000 SF recreation center has specialized activity spaces and associated storage areas including a 6,150 SF competitive natatorium with spectator seating; whirlpool/spa; 5,000 SF leisure pool; aquatics; offices; sauna; fitness and weight training rooms; locker rooms; child care area; and a multipurpose room. The administrative office spaces include standard operating offices and an admissions control station. Careful detailing of the exposed truss members together with high quality protective coatings minimized the risk of premature corrosion.
