Schoharie Aqueduct Stabilization & Restoration

McMullan provided a structural evaluation, study, and alternative stabilization schemes for this circa 1841 historic stone masonry arch aqueduct structure located at the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site in the Towns of Glen and Florida (Montgomery County, NY). The original structure comprised 14 arches with a total length of 600 feet. Work included the preparation of final construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications. All restoration work complied with the State Historic Preservation Office and the Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties by the Secretary of the Interior.
